Videos of my lifts at State
Before each lift, you have to wait until the head judge says "Bar is loaded."
For each lift, you have 1 minute to complete the lift, and you also have 3 attempts to get the best weight you can.
Each lift has its own set of rules that all lifters must follow to get an approved lift.
Every time you lift, there will be 3 judges watching to make sure you do everything right. They will determine if you get 3 white lights (approved lift)
If you fail to get the weight up or you dont follow these rules it is a failed attempt

Bench
This was my best bench attempt at 45kg (99.21lb)
For Bench, you have to wait for the judge to tell you to start, then when the bar touches your chest, you have to pause until the judge tells you to lift, and then you can push the bar back up. Then you have to wait one more time until the judge tells you to rack

Squat
This was my best Squat attempt at 75kg (165.35lb)
For Squat, you can take the weight off the rack whenever you are ready. Then you set your feet and wait until the judge says squat. As you are squatting, you have to make sure you get low enough for it to count; your knee should be at a 90-degree angle or lower. After you pop back up, you wait once again for the judge to say rack before you're done

Deadlift
This was my best Deadlift attempt at 112.5kg (248.02lb)
For Deadlift, there are not many rules. After the judge says "Bar is loaded," then you can go out and begin your attempt; you don't have to wait, you can just pull the weight. But once you start, you cannot drop or hitch the weight. It has to be one fluid motion. Once the weight is at the top you have to wait till the judge drops his hand and thats when your lift is over.
